PURPOSE: To realize a cordless telephone system having a function for retrieving latest base station position information at low cost.

CONSTITUTION: A moving station 1 is provided with a call possible range detection means 11, an invasion notice means 12 for a call possible range, a first storage means 13 which can record and reproduce information and the retrieval means 14 of the first storage means 13. A base station 21 is provided with a second storage means 28 storing position information of the nearly base station. When the moving station 1 invades the call possible range, it gives a notice to the base station 21, and the base station 21 transmits position information in the second storage means 28 to the moving station 1. The moving station 1 records position information in the first storage means 13.
