Abstract:

To provide a core-sheath structured yarn excellent in bulkiness and thermal insulation, having good appearance with almost no core fiber exposed to a surface of the sheath.SOLUTION: A core-sheath structured yarn includes a core containing an acrylic fiber A and a sheath containing a fiber B. In the yarn, the content of the acrylic fiber A is 5 to 25 mass%, and the content of the fiber B is 75 to 95 mass%. In the cross section of the yarn, the proportion of the number of the acrylic fibers A in the total number of the fibers exposed to a surface of the side face of the yarn located on the outermost periphery is 10% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
