To provide a core for a tire and a tire wheel assembly that can improve a cornering power of the tire and realize high operating stability without requiring particular adjustments for a vehicle and the tire.
A core 10 for the tire serves as an annular body 11 arranged along a rim base 21 inside the tire wheel assembly configured by installing a tire 30 to a wheel 20. With respect to a circumferential direction of the wheel, a rim attaching portion 12 is provided in an inner circumferential surface of the annular body 11. Both side portions 11a and 11b reach from the rim attaching portion to an outer circumferential surface of the annular body. One (11a) of both the side portions (11a, 11b) has a shape following an inner circumferential surface 31a of a sidewall portion 31 of the installed tire 30, and the other side portion (11b) is chamfered.
