Abstract:
To more simply detect a contact of a core wire and a stripping blade, when stripping the cover of a wire.
A core wire contact detection device 40 detects the contact of the stripping blades 14A, 14B and the core wire, when stripping the cover of the wire W by the stripping blades 14A, 14B. The device has vibration detecting parts 42A, 42B capable of detecting a vibration in a frequency band zone including an oscillatory frequency generated by the contact of the core wire and the stripping blades 14A, 14B, and a contact state determination processing part 50 which determines the existence of the contact of the stripping blades 14A, 14B and the core wire, when the amplitude of the detected vibration exceeds a predetermined threshold.
