Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a coreless toilet paper roll having necessary and sufficient rigidity at a degree for hardly causing a core collapse during transportation while maintaining a characteristic of the so-called coreless toilet paper roll with several layers at an initial stage of the winding of a web as a core part.SOLUTION: In a winding process for manufacturing a paper roll having a prescribed winding diameter by winding a web which is paid out of an original fabric roll, aqueous slurry suspended with cellulose nanofibers in an initial stage of winding is applied on the web, and dried in a state that the web is wound in a succeeding drying process. Preferably, the aqueous slurry is applied to the web by two to four rounds after a start of the winding, an adhesion amount of the dried cellulose nanofibers is set to 0.03 to 0.21 g/roll, the aqueous slurry is prepared and applied so that a suspension concentration of the cellulose nanofibers reaches 1.0 to 3.0%, and dried at a normal temperature.
