Abstract:
To provide novel main protease inhibitors that can be effective therapeutics against a SARS-CoV-2 virus.SOLUTION: The present inventors screened various compositions and compounds for their inhibitory effects on a main protease of a SARS-CoV-2 virus. As a result, the inventors have found that an extract of Fabales Fabaceae Havardia, Havardia Mexicana bark as an active ingredient has an inhibitory effect on the main protease, and completed the present invention. The present invention provides a coronavirus main protease inhibitor comprising an extract of Fabales Fabaceae Havardia, Havardia Mexicana bark as an active ingredient.SELECTED DRAWING: None
