Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering system capable of properly supplementing steering torque by using a resolver.
SOLUTION: A reference signal is impressed on a resolver arithmetic processing I/F circuit 34 and a resolver arithmetic processing I/F circuit 36 via a reference signal inputting means 38. A microcomputer 30 determines a deviation of an amplification factor from outputs of the resolver arithmetic processing I/F circuit 34 and the resolver arithmetic processing I/F circuit 36 when the reference signal is provided. From the determined deviation, a correction value is calculated for calculating a position from the outputs of the resolver arithmetic processing I/F circuit 34 and the resolver arithmetic processing I/F circuit 36.
