Abstract:
To provide a method for deriving a correction coefficient related to a thermal displacement amount of a support part for supporting a screw shaft of a machine tool in order to accurately derive the thermal displacement amount of the screw shaft, and the machine tool.SOLUTION: A support part of a machine tool rotatably supports one end part of a screw shaft around an axis, regulates the movement of one end part in an axial direction, and supports the other end part of the screw shaft so as to be rotatable around the shaft, and to be movable in the axial direction. A derivation method of a correction coefficient related to a thermal displacement amount of the support part measures a first reference position of one end part, measures a second reference position of the other end part, moves a nut connected to the screw shaft after measuring the first reference position and the second reference position, and measures a first thermal displacement position of one end part of the screw shaft, and a second thermal displacement position of the other end part of the screw shaft after moving the nut. The correction coefficient is derived on the basis of the first reference position, the second reference position, the first thermal displacement position and the second thermal displacement position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
