Abstract:
PURPOSE: To correctively cut the cutting edge of a saw tooth in a straight line in which the saw tooth is sturdy and has a good cutting action.
CONSTITUTION: A sliding bed 5 which can be adjusted to be moved forward and backward, is provided in relation to a grinder 3 installed at an inclination. A turning body 11 which is turned about a turning base disc by reciprocating forming operations of handles 6 is provided to the sliding bed 5. A turning guide panel 21 provided with engaging-locking parts 22 of the same number as that of the saw tooth 25 is loaded to the bushing installed at an off-centered position of the turning body 11, and a mounting shaft 17 braked by a compression-spring device 20 is journalled to the bushing. An elastic plate-shaped guide body 24 which guides and advances the saw tooth 25 to the grinder 3 in a straight line by the length of the cutting edge with the erected guide piece 30 engaged with the engaging-locking part 22 in an unturned state at the time when the handle 6 is moved forward, and thus cuts the cutting edge of the saw tooth 25, is arranged and installed to the sliding bed 5.
