Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction information acquiring device capable of acquiring correction information at a prescribed timing, while keeping constant the accuracy of GPS positioning, and reducing the communication cost.
SOLUTION: This correction information acquiring device for acquiring the correction information from a base station at a prescribed timing is constituted by having a constitution having a correction information management means for managing the correction information acquired from the base station, a calculation means for calculating an independent positioning value based on position information received from a satellite and calculating a corrected positioning value based on the correction information, a judgement means for judging whether the difference between the corrected positioning value and the independent positioning value exceeds a prescribed value or not, and an information acquiring means for acquiring the correction information from the base station based on the determination result by the determination means.
