Abstract:
To provide a corrosion diagnostic method and corrosion diagnostic device considering the elapsed years from the completion of the construction of an unpainted weather resistance steel structure.SOLUTION: The rust thickness and the ion permeation resistance value of a rust formed on an unpainted weather resistance steel structure is measured. On the basis of the measurement data, the diagnosis is performed by referring to different diagnostic references, depending on whether the measurement period is 1 year or more and less than 4 years, 4 years or more and less than 9 years, or 9 years or more from the completion of the construction of the unpainted weather resistance steel structure. The state of the rust can be diagnosed early and quantitatively, and the repair measures based on the state of the rust can be more certainly considered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
