Abstract:
To improve the corrosion resistance of a structural cable.SOLUTION: A method for preventing corrosion of a structural cable used in a suspended structure including a suspension bridge and a cable-stayed bridge, includes: wrapping and covering a structural cable 100 formed of a plurality of cable wires 110 with a double resin thin film sheet (a fluorine resin is preferable as a material of the sheet, and ETFE is particularly preferable) which can be adhered to each other; and forming a first layer 120A between the structural cable 100 and a first lapping material 160A and a second layer 120B between the first lapping material 160A and a second lapping material 160B to distribute dry air by dividing it into an outer circulating dry air A (B) flowing through the second layer 120B and an inner circulating dry air A (A) flowing inside the second layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
