Abstract:
To provide a corrosion resistant metallic tube substantially eliminating volatile organic compds. and thereby substantially eliminating the need of the recovery of vapor.
A corrosion resistant metallic tube 10 is provided with a metallic tube 12 having an outside surface 13 and a zinc series layer 14 electrostatically bonded to the outside surface 13 of the metallic tube 12. The zinc series layer 14 can be selected from the group consisting of powdery zinc, a powdery zinc- nickel alloy, a powdery zinc-cobalt alloy, a powdery zinc-aluminum alloy and their mixtures. The tube 10 can be provided with one or more polymer layers electrostatically bonded to the surface treated layer as well.
