PURPOSE: To produce a corrosive preventive composition showing excellent corrosion preventive performance in an acidic atmosphere by incorporating a specific ratio of neutral alkali metal sulfonate, phenate, oxidized wax or the like into a mineral oil or the like of a base oil and controlling the kinematic viscosity, total base number or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The corrosion preventive composition 1-150mm2/s in kinematic viscosity at 40°C, 1-30mgKOH/g in base number and 2-20 in the ratio of total base number (mgKOH/g)total acid number (mgKOH/g) is produced by incorporating 0.1-20wt.% neutral alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal sulfonate, 0.1-20wt.% alkali metal or alkaline earth metal organic acid salt of at least one kind of phenate or salicylate, which is 20-500mgKOH/g in total base number, 1-20wt.% at least one kind of selected from the oxidized wax and its derivative, a partial ester of polyhydric alcohol and a lanolin fatty acid derivative as an essential components into the mineral oil or a synthetic oil used as the base oil.
