To provide a corrugated fiberboard box with a folding lock which is easily disposed in a non-bulky folded condition.
In the corrugated fiberboard box in which a pair of long side plates 1 and a pair of short side plates 2 are alternately and continuously provided to form a peripheral wall, and sealing flaps 4 and 5 are respectively and continuously provided on the side plates 1 and 2, the flaps 4 and 5 are opened, a fold line 6 matching a groove between the long and short flaps 4 and 5 forming other overlapping surface is formed in the long flap 4 forming one overlapping surface while being double-folded along a ridge located on the diagonal of the peripheral wall, and a lock mechanism for maintaining the folded condition in four-folds along the fold line 6 is provided. The pair of flaps 4 are cut to provide an engagement piece 7 and an engagement hole 8 as the lock mechanism, the engagement piece 7 is pushed in the engagement hole 8 in a winding manner via a cutout part 12 of the flap 5 held therebetween, and stopped by door pieces 10 on both sides of the engagement hole 8.
