Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a fine, homogeneous and powder-free hair bleaching composition freely flowing and hardly causing powder dust, capable of completely being dispersed in hydrogen peroxide and having improved cosmetic properties.
CONSTITUTION: This pulverulent anhydrous composition for cosmetics for hair bleaching is prepared by using a peroxide derivative as an oxidant and formulating one, which is liquid at a room temperature, and another, which is water-soluble, of anhydrous polyoxyethylene/polyoxypropylene type block or random linear copolymers with the oxidant to provide the bleaching cosmetic composition for the hair having improved properties. The copolymers are represented by formulae I and II [EO is a unit derived from ethylene oxide; PO is a unit derived from propylene oxide; AO is EO or PO; (x), (y) and (m) are each an integer regulated so that one of the copolymers may be liquid and the other may be water-soluble). The content of the copolymer is preferably <25 wt.%, and that of the oxidant is preferably 30-50 wt.% based on the whole composition.
