PURPOSE: To incorporate salicylic acid in the form of an unneutralized free acid into cosmetic compsn. having neutral pH value.
CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic compsn. consists of film forming lipid dispersed in the form of liposome, unneutralized salicylic acid existing locally in the bimolecular film of the liposome, other cosmetic component existing in the film or in an aq. phase at the outside or inside of the film or existing properly in both the film and the aq. phase, a water-soluble org. base impermeable into the film and the balance water.
