Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition excellent in thickening properties, dispersion stability, and salt tolerance.SOLUTION: The invention provides a cosmetic composition containing following components (A), (B), and (C). in which the content of the above component (A) to the entire cosmetic composition is 0.05 mass% or more to 5.0 mass% or less. (A) is cellulose fibers with a number average fiber diameter of 2 nm or more to 500 nm or less, has a substituent introduced into a hydroxyl group in a cellulose molecule, a degree of substitution of 0.01 or more to 0.5 or less, a type I and/or II crystal structure, and an aspect ratio of 50 or more.
