To provide a cosmetic container which is excellent in gas barrier property and can be suitably used as a cosmetic container or refillable container.

The cosmetic container includes a container body with a top opening which is formed by integrating a wall section and a bottom section being separate sections and a lid for covering the container body. The wall section and bottom section each have a laminate structure consisting of a synthetic resin layer and an oxygen barrier layer. The wall section has a shape of cylinder or prism and includes a folded bond part in the vertical direction which is perpendicular to its circumference. The bottom section includes a rising peripheral portion made by drawing work and the rising peripheral portion is joined to the wall section all around at least partially in height to constitute the container body. The upper opening has an edge portion of any of three specified types. The edge portion is covered with a lid having a coated seal of a laminate film including an oxygen barrier layer and a synthetic resin layer.
