Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject cosmetic material for preventing and improving time-dependent morphological changes of the skin by bringing the composition to contain an essence of Centella asiatica, Umbelliferae and an essence of rosemary, Labiatae.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic material contains (A) an essence of Centella asiatica, Umbelliferae and (B) an essence of rosemary, Labiatae. The essence means a processed material processed by drying, cutting, pulverizing and so forth a part of or the whole of a plant, an extract prepared by extracting the processed material with a solvent or the like, a solvent removed extract, its fractionated and purified material and the solvent extract and/or its solvent removed material are most preferable. As the extracting solvent, a polar solvent such as water and/or alcohol and the like is preferable. As the part of the plant to be used, the whole plant or the above-ground part is preferable. The content of each ingredient is preferably 0.001-10 wt.%, more preferably 0.01-1 wt.% for both ingredients A and B based on the whole cosmetic material.
