Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide such a compsn. for treatment for hair and scalp as is excellent in storage stability, makes hair easily combed and the hair style easily set and improves softness of the hair.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. consists of dispersion of (A) ionic amphipathic lipid which can form a hydrated lipid thin film layer insoluble with water in (B) a water phase containing (B1) a cationic surfactant expressed by the formula and/or (B2) quaternized protein consisting of polypeptide selected from animal protein hydrolyzed material. In the formula, X- is Cl-, CH3SO4-, R1 is 1 to 4C alkyl group, and (i) when X- is Cl-, R2, R3 are each 1 to 4C alkyl group and R4 is 16 to 22C alkyl group, or R2=R1, R3=R4=18C alkyl group or R3 is 17C alkylamidepropyl group, R4 is 14C alkylacetate, (ii) when X- is CH3SO4-, R2 is 13 to 21C alkyl-and/or 13 to 21C alkenyl-amide ethyl group derived from fatty acid of animal fat, R3, R4 are bonded with N to form 4,5-dihydroimidazole ring.
