Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic improved in feeling in use, excellent in dispersibility of powder and durability of makeup such as water resistance/sweat resistance, oil resistance/sebum resistance, by using a lower alcohol, hydrophobilyzation treated powder and a specific hydrophilic silicone.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by combining (A) a copolymer which contains a hydrophilic segment and an organopolysiloxane segment and is soluble or dispersible in water or a lower alcohol with (B) a lower alcohol and (C hydrophobilization treated powder. A segment which is bonded through a hetero atom-containing alkylene group to at least one silicon atom at the end or a side chain of the organopolysiloxane segment and contains a repeating unit of formula I (R1 is H, an alkyl, etc.; (n) is 2 or 3) or formula II (R2 is H, an alkyl, etc.; (r) is 1-5) is preferable as the hydrophilic segment of the component A. The system may be further mixed with an oil component such as a silicone oil, water, an inorganic salt or an organic acid salt.
