Abstract:
PURPOSE: A stable cosmetic for the skin and hair having improved touch without irritation, comprising a specific compound having properties similar to those of the human sebum as an oily base.
CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic comprising one or two or more types of neopentyl glycol diesters of the formula (R is n-C8H17-, n-C9H19-, or n-C11H23-), e.g. neopentyl glycol dicaprylate. Usable for various types of creams, milky lotions, bath oils, lipsticks, hair oils, hair rinses, etc.
