Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic capable of effectively affording UV blocking property on cosmetic milky lotion, etc., excellent in slipping and covering power, etc., by using a metal oxide particle contained in resin powder.
SOLUTION: The base material contains a resin powder of 0.1-30μm of particle size containing a metal oxide powder having UV screening power of 0.003-0.1μm of average particle size. The metal oxides having UV screening power such as zinc oxide, titanium oxide or cerium oxide, etc., are preferred. The resins used are such as urethane, polyacrylic acid ester, polyvinyl acetate, polyamide, acryl-styrene copolymer, epoxy, silicone resin, etc. This resin powder containing metal oxide is preferably formulated in cosmetic milky lotion, face powder, foundation, stick, lip stick, eye line, etc.
