Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input a tire outer peripheral length simply, accurately, and surely in consideration of all parameters such as the outer diameter, width, structure, and rubber type of a tire by confirming the name of the tire, and setting the tire outer peripheral length.
SOLUTION: A tire of this type is set to the standard air pressure, and the measured value when a driver with standard weight rides on it is set for the data of a tire outer peripheral length for a tire name. When the numerical value of a main numerical value display 135 coincides with one of the tire outer peripheral lengths stored in a tire outer peripheral length table, the tire name corresponding to it is displayed on an auxiliary numerical value display 136. A driver can judge whether the tire name corresponds to the tire of the bicycle on which he rides or not via the auxiliary numerical value display 136 at a glance. When the tire name corresponding to the bicycle on which he rides is displayed on the auxiliary numerical value display 136, he pushes a left mode switch 14 to determine it then proceeds to the next setting.
