Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of counting the number of a plurality of stacked packing boxes even in the case that the plurality of packing boxes of the same kind stacked over a plurality of stages are arranged in a different direction for each stage.SOLUTION: A counter calculates the area of an appearing area (an area appearing without being hidden by a packing box of a stage upper than each stage) in a top surface area of at least one packing box existing in each stage on the basis of three-dimensional position information of the plurality of packing boxes (S15). Also, it estimates the number of appearing packing boxes (the number of packing boxes whose top surface appears without being hidden by a packing box of a stage upper than each stage in at least one packing box existing in each stage) for each stage on the basis of the area of an appearing area of each stage and a planar size of an individual packing box (S17). Then, it calculates the number of a plurality of stacked packing boxes by adding a number obtained by multiplexing the number of stacked stages of packing boxes to each stage by the number of appearing packing boxes of each stage (S19, S20).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
