PURPOSE: To prevent the bow of a ship from pushing into a coupling section between the end faces of plural round floating fenders, by using couplers to connect the end faces of the fenders to each other and by fitting annular elastic spacers in between the end faces.

CONSTITUTION: Plural round floating fenders 1, whose outer shells are thin films made of a flexible material such as rubber and of reinforcing fibers, are connected to each other by metal couplers 9. Annular elastic spacers 13 are fitted between the end faces of the adjacent fenders 1 to prevent the bow of a ship from pushing into the coupling section between the fenders, keep the distance between them appropriate, and prevent their deformation as a whole.
