Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a coupling which is constituted to provide rigidity and flexibility required for transmission of torque to a high rotation load, prevent the generation of uncomfortable noise during transmission of torque, and be suitable for a luter for dental treatment.
CONSTITUTION: A coupling body 11 is formed in the shape of a cylinder in which a drive shaft 3 and a driven shaft 5 are inserted from two ends for engagement with each other and constituted to transmit rotation of the drive shaft to the driven shaft. The coupling body is formed of an urethane elastomer having JIS hardness of 69-75.
