Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply and positively couple together two structural angles at least one of which is hollow so that they are cross-coupled without using a fixing means such as welding, etc., and fixing members such as rivets, etc.
CONSTITUTION: An insertion hole 6 for a second structural angle is drilled at the coupling portion of a first structural angle to be coupled. The second structural angle is inserted through the insertion hole 6 into the hollow part of the first structural angle. A load P is then applied to either the first or second structural angle to give plastic deformation 5 for connection for the purpose of engagement with the insertion hole 6.
