A cover body 1 is fitted to the faucet 2 for city water to decorate it by forming its outer surface in the shape of an animal or a popular character. An opening is formed in the cover body at the portion corresponding to the position for operating the cock of the faucet 2, and an open/close cover 4 is fitted to the opening. Methods of mounting the cover body 1 include a method of covering the faucet 2 with the cover body from the upper side, a method of sticking the cover body to the faucet 2 from the right and left sides, and a method of suspending the cover body from the faucet 2.
