Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound reduction cover of a pneumatic nailing machine in which looseness and positional deviation are not generated.
SOLUTION: A cover 1 made of an air-permeable raw material is provided with such a shape as to cover an exhaust port of a head cap 8 of a cylinder housing 5 of a pneumatic nailing machine, and a plurality of hooks 3 are circumferentially arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the lower part. A rubber band 2 is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder housing 5, the cover 1 is put on the head cap 1, and the tips of the hooks 3 are inserted and latched between the lower edge of the rubber band 2 and the cylinder housing 5. The cover 1 can be brought in close-contact with and mounted on the cylinder housing 5 by adjusting the position of the rubber band 2. When the cover 1 is detached, the rubber band 2 serves as a protector.
