A cover 1 for a direct-fitting rail is formed of a colored plastic or the plastic in which wood powder is mixed whose color tone is match with that of a door and a floor. A rail base 3 is covered at a part not in contact with the door on the rail base 3 of a lower rail for a door 2 such as a sliding door and a partition fixed to the floor surface by screws, and the cover 1 for the direct-fitting rail is attached to the floor surface wit the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape, etc. The rail is not worn like a rail formed of the extruded colored plastic, and the design coordination with the door and the floor is realized.
