Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably control subsequent tension to be constant even if an intermittently working printer with a buffer function is arranged in the middle of a continuous conveyance line of a cover film.
SOLUTION: A PTP machine is equipped with a delivering roller 17 for delivering the cover film 4 from the intermittently working printer 11, a driving motor 16 for driving the roller 17, a tension roller 19 provided at a free end of a swingable swing arm 18 constantly urged by an urging means for applying a tension to the cover film 4 which has passed through the roller 17, an angle sensor 21 for outputting a signal according to the swing angle of the swing arm 18, and a tension controller 31 for controlling, based on the signal from the sensor 21, the speed of the driving motor 16 to keep the swing arm 18 at a predetermined angle thereby controlling the tension to be applied to the cover film 4 to be constant.
