Abstract:
To provide a cover member to maintain cleanliness of an engaging surface to ditachably engage a hole part of a head end of an axis of rotation and a tool with each other and to discharge foreign substance intruding the hole part in a spindle device wherein the tool is changed by an automatic changing device.
This cover material formed on the head end of the axis of rotation of the spindle device and to seal the hole part to be engaged with the tool has a groove part 3c engraved on the engaging part 3a to be engaged with the hole part and a wiping member 3d arranged in the groove part 3c, and the wiping member 3d wipes a surface of the hole part at the time when the engaging part 3a is engaged with the hole part.
