Abstract:
To provide a cover of a rigid endoscope that can easily be attached or detached with respect to an outer peripheral surface of the rigid endoscope without its cover member detached therefrom and can reliably prevent leakage of wash liquid, gas, etc.SOLUTION: A cover 20 for covering a part in a circumferential direction of an outer peripheral surface of a rigid endoscope 10 including an observation window 14 at a distal end, comprises a cover member 22 with flexibility, for covering the part in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the rigid endoscope 10. A plurality of through-holes 24 and 25, in each of which wash liquid and gas to be supplied from the distal end side of the rigid endoscope 10 to an observation window 14 of the rigid endoscope 10 flow, are formed in the cover member 22. The cover member 22 is configured to be bent, so that the cover member 22 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the rigid endoscope 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
