Abstract:
PURPOSE: To integrally caulk a separately arranged pilot boss to a cover body for torque converter.
CONSTITUTION: A torque converter E comprises a cover body 10 for a torque converter having a torque converter protruded to a given position; a pilot boss 20 inserted in the guide boss 13 of a cover body 10 for the torque converter. A lock means 20b is arranged inside the pilot boss 20. By caulking the guide boss 13 to the lock means 20b, a cover body 10 for the torque converter is formed integrally with the pilot boss 20.
