Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically, safely, surely and uniformly perform a covered terminal treatment such as the coating removal of the pipe connecting end part in a heat insulating covered pipe having an insulating coating on a copper pipe or steel pipe, the polishing of the circumferential surface, and the chamfering of the end surface edge.
CONSTITUTION: A covered terminal treating machine for heat insulating covered pipe is formed of a pipe fitting rotating shaft body (a) having a major diameter part and minor diameter guide part continuously formed to each other and a chamfering blade 7 in their boundary part; a polishing brush 11 erected and supported on the outer part on the base end side of the minor diameter guide part and integrally rotated with the pipe fitting rotating shaft body (a); and a cutting blade body (d) erected and supported on the outer part on the top end side of the minor diameter guide part and integrally rotated with the pipe fitting rotating shaft body (a). While this machine is mounted on the rotating shaft of a motor and rotated, an insulated covered pipe is held by the hand and pushed thereto to perform coating removal, circumferential surface polishing, and edge chamfering.
