PURPOSE: To provide a crank case compression type two-cycle engine, which can reduce the blow-out of the air-fuel mixture so as to reduce the fuel consumption.
CONSTITUTION: A scavenging valve 21 for supplying the air-fuel mixture is provided in the top of a cylinder 1, and a scavenging port 6 for supplying the scavenging air and an exhaust port 40 are provided under the side wall of the cylinder, and a recessed part 9a at an inlet diameter larger than that of the scavenging valve 21 provided in the top of the cylinder and smaller than that of the cylinder is provided so as to form a combustion chamber 9. The scavenging valve 21 is arranged in the top of the recessed part combustion chamber, and an ignition plug 12 is provided inside the recessed part combustion chamber.
