Title:
CREATININE ANALYZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5635980
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To determine the concentration difference of ammonium ion by the use of a pair of electrode pairs comprising two ammonium ion selective electrodes arranged before and after an enzymatic reactor, and two reference electrodes corresponding to the above electrodes.

CONSTITUTION: The specimen to be analyzed is introduced into the analyzer through a specimen pump 3, and the ammonium ion concentrations in the specimen and the buffer solution are determined by the first electrode pair 4a. The creatinine substrate in the specimen is decomposed to N-methylhydantoin and ammonium ion with creatininase enzyme in the enzymatic reactor 5 and the ammonium ion concentration after the reaction is determined by the second electrode pair 4b. The output signals from the first and the second electrode pairs are inputted to the comparative amplifiers 6a and 6b, respectively, and the output signals of both amplifiers are inputted to the third comparative amplifier 6c. Its output is displayed by a displaying device 8. The time lag between the signals of the electrode pairs 4a and 4b is compensated by a holding circuit 7.
