Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a creel equipped with a twister which can cope not only with conventional woven fabrics but also with woven fabrics of low weft yarn density by high-speed weaving or woven fabrics with warp yarns of high twisting number, because the twisted yarn can be fed directly from the bobbin for untwisted yarn to the weaving machine or the warping machine.
CONSTITUTION: In the creel 1 where a plurality of spindles 8 each of which support and rotates the bobbin 3 having undrawn yarn wound around are arranged on the frame 18 and the yarns 2 taken out of individual, bobbins 3 on the spindles 8 are twisted respectively to form a sheet, a spindle 8 is set rotatably through the bearing shaft 8' at the center of one horizontal rotation shaft 8' to the frame 18 of the creel l, while the places for bobbins 3 having untwisted yarn wound around 2 to be set are arranged on both sides of the rotation shaft 8'. Further, the double-twisting mechanism 21 is set to the part to which bobbin having undrawn yarn wound up is set.
