Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect the semi-automation by providing a link mechanism which keeps arms in a substantially parallel condition through its transfer range and engages/disengages a holding element with/from a spool, and a pivot body which is equipped with a shoe on the arms so as to be selectively turned to change the direction of the spool.
SOLUTION: A creel fitting device 10 handles a spool S. The creel fitting device 10 is intended to use a hoisting device, and the hoisting device can drive the creel fitting device 10 manually or through the preliminarily programmed three-axis motion, and performs the elevating function required for holding and picking up the spool S in a shipping container, and carries the spool S to the position close to a spindle of a creel to manually insert the spindle in a center hole 13.
