Title:
CRIME PREVENTION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MOTOR-DRIVEN DOOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3458301
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an opener for a motor-driven door from being driven to close the door when the door, even if opened without an input from a control switch or the like, is opened only slightly, in providing a crime-prevention con trol mode to output a closure drive command in the event that the door is opened without such an input.
SOLUTION: The control part 6 of an opener 4 is set to receive the inputs of pulse signals from an encoder type sensor 9 and a complete closure detection signal from a limit switch 8 and is designed to shift to a crime-prevention control mode after a predetermined timer period has elapsed since the input of the complete closure detection signal. After the shift to the crime prevention control mode, a closure drive command is input to the opener 4 when the control part 6 judges that it has received the pulse signals from the sensor 9 in excess of a predetermined number of pulses (received an open detection signal).
