Abstract:
To provide an improved crimping tool die in particular with regard to assurance of operation and/or a desired crimping result.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a crimping tool die (1) comprising two die half units (2 and 3). The die half units (2 and 3) are guided by a guide unit (51) relatively to each other over a crimping stroke. Crimping surfaces (40 and 41) of die halves (5) are formed by end surfaces of ribs (37) which engage each other. Preferably, the guide unit (51) comprises a guiding rod (43) formed by an end-sided thickening portion (42) of the rib (37) and a guiding notch portion (50) formed by a guiding notch section (45) which connects the two ribs (37) to each other. The crimping tool die (1) is used for the crimping tool which can be used for crimping wire end sleeves, for example.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
