The interior of a transparent hard coat layer 11 formed atop a resin substrate 10 possesses a marker serving as a judgment criterion for the critical film thickness t of the hard coat layer 11. It is permissible to use, as the marker, one dissipating, upon the achievement of the critical film thickness t by the hard coat layer 11, as a result of the desorption or dissolution thereof, one enabling, following the deformation thereof accompanying the film depletion of the hard coat layer 11, a judgment based on the deformation state thereof, or one exhibiting a color change upon the achievement of the critical film thickness t by the hard coat layer 11.
