PURPOSE: To perform automatic sorting operation, etc., with high accuracy by forming a carring conveyor on a lifting conveying path in an approximately vertical position, and providing a drive-conveying body for forcedly lifting crops protruded from engaging projections and returning the crops to the conveying-starting end side of a bottom-conveying path, at an outside position on the way of the conveying path.
CONSTITUTION: A carrying conveyor 13 on a lifting conveying path B having engaging projections 12 is formed in an approximately vertical position. Therefore, when crops (a, a') are placed laterally one over the other, the superposed crop (a') is rolled down outwardly. Further, when the excessively loaded crop (a') is transported in a longitudinal position with its upside protruded from the projection, the crop is forcedly lifted by a drive-conveying body 14 to return to the conveying-start starting end side of a bottom-conveying path A.
