Abstract:
To control overdraft which occurs when a steel billet is passed through a crop shear at full speed.
In the crop shear for junction which is positioned at an inlet part of a steel billet joining device for joining a back end of a preceding rolled material and a tip of the following rolled material and which cuts crop at an end of each steel billet, an outlet part apron having a supporting body supporting the rolled material from backward is equipped at an outlet part of the crop shear body with a changeable angle of inclination facing downward at an upstream side of the supporting body within a range of at least 10°-30°.
