The crossbar support consists of a crossbar support tool A also used as a cover body, and a slide clamp B. The crossbar support tool A includes two pieces a and a' integrally formed with each other, a hole 3 for inserting a support C at the center 1, a flat bracket 2 for mounting a crossbar at one end, and a grip hole 4 at the other end. The slide clamp B includes two pieces b and b', a hole for inserting the support C bored at the center of a body 11, a spring 14 interposed between the members b and b' at one end, a grip 12 attached at the other end, and a pin 13 with a spring 15 interposed between the members b and b'. The slide clamp B formed with the two pieces b and b' is stored in the crossbar support tool A integrally formed with the two pieces a and a', which is attached to the support C in such a way as can be moved upward/downward.
