To provide a crossing control device capable of releasing a crossing path by quickly stopping driving of a crossing instrument.
In the crossing control device, driving of the crossing instrument such as a crossing barrier installed on the crossing path is started when a train arrives at a predetermined front side of the crossing path and driving of the crossing instrument is stopped when the train passes through the crossing path. The device has a ground element for receiving a predetermined signal transmitted from an on-vehicle device for controlling the crossing provided on the rearmost part of the train passing through the crossing path; and a stopping control means for stopping driving of the crossing instrument when the ground element receives the predetermined signal transmitted from the on-vehicle device for controlling the crossing.
