PURPOSE: To prevent the breakage of a crossing gate bar by impact load by an automobile to forcedly break a crossing, or reaction by inertial force by including a reinforcement member having a cross-shaped vertical cross sectional surface almost along the whole length of a tubular body to increase the strength of the tubular body itself.
CONSTITUTION: A reinforcement member 2 having a cross-shaped vertical cross sectional surface of a thicknes (t) and comprising the same material or material of the same effect as a tubular body 1 comprising fiber-reinforced plastic(FRP) is included in the tubular body 1 along the whole length of it, and the reinforcement member 2 is connected to the tubular body 1 to be integrated to form an arm bar type crossing gate bar. In this crossing gate bar, a cross sectional surface coefficient and a cross sectional surface secondary moment can be increased at the same weight, so the strength of the crossing gate bar itself can be improved, where a breakage accident by impact load of an automobile or the like or reaction by inertial force can be prevented. In addition, the weight of the crossing gate bar as a whole can be reduced.
