Abstract:
PURPOSE: The title flame-retardant molded article scarcely changing the dielectric constant by irradiation with electron rays, comprising a lead compound and a polyolefin composition containing a flame-retardant of a halogen compound and its assistant.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) 100 parts by wt. of a polyolefin or polyolefin copolymer, (B) 5W100 parts by wt. of a flame-retardant of a halogen compound, (C) 1W30 parts by wt. of a flame-retardant assistant, and (D) 0.5W 30 parts by wt. of a lead compound, e.g. lead monoxide is molded, and crosslinked by irradiation with electron rays.
USE: Insulating materials for coaxial cables.
